Procurement Analyst Lead (Global) - Raw Materials/Directs

Location:
Barcelona (1 day per week in office)


Salary:
€40-52k + Package

  • This exciting procurement analyst role offers an experienced analyst the opportunity to join a brilliant team of 7 in Barcelona with a fantastic culture. You'll lead on a range of analytical duties as outlined below and work as a core part of the procurement team, with a focus on raw material commodities/directs.


The role:

  • Assist the procurement team in gathering business intelligence from various systems internally and with 3rd parties.
  • Implementing digital technologies to improve procurement processes
  • Administer Procurement tools, including access, user accounts management, and spend classification.
  • Support Category Managers to maintain and update Sievo spend, contract and savings data in realtime
  • Partner and understand the key priorities and business needs of our internal customers and the needs of the Procurement team (Category Managers, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product teams).
  • Help identify business requirements and assist in executing a roadmap.
  • Support in collecting data to aid decisionmaking, including setting up Key Performance Indicators and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party technology platform providers, such as Sievo, Scanmarket, and Airtable.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals to identify opportunities and risks. Create, maintain, and update data for tenders in realtime, to support negotiations and decisionmaking in a constantly changing business environment.
  • Build relationships with the broader Procurement team, promoting data sharing and transparency.
  • Support in ensuring projects are delivered according to expectations.
  • Learn from and share best practices across global categories.
  • Occasional travel might be required.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Economics).
  • 3+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Including 2+ years working within a procurement capacity
  • Advanced understanding of data visualization.
  • Introductory skills in SQL and familiarity with a BI tool.
  • Nice to haves include:
  • Experience with Sievo or other Spend Analytics tools
  • Experience with eTenders
