To keep pace with technological developments in the field and face up to its increasing challenges through constant innovation, Datawords is looking for an:
Korean Content Manager

For Datawords Office in Barcelona as part of the Korean Content Production Dpt.

, your main responsibilities would include:

Handling projects during Korean holidays and outside of normal work hours in Korean time.

Project coordination in a bustling, deadline-driven environment.

Working closely with clients in Korean-speaking markets and multinational internal teams

Quality control of Korean content in a wide variety of styles, terminologies, and formats

Overseeing the creation of editorial briefs and glossaries

Ensuring translation adheres to the client's desired style, tone of voice, and brand image

Balancing budgets, negotiating deadlines, and ensuring profitability of projects

Training of translators, post-editors, and proofreaders

Linguistic Project Coordination in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment in collaboration with the multilingual and internal production HQ teams in Paris


Desired Profile:

Highly adaptable, first-rate writing/editing skills in your native language are central to the role.

BA or MA in Translation Studies/Audiovisual Translation or similar

Education and professional experience in your native language


Great adaptability:
appreciation for a young and multicultural work environment

Strong work ethic, team player, dedicated to seeing challenging projects through to completion


Working languages:
Korean (native-speaker level required) high level of English

Strong writing and editing skills

Previous experience in translation is highly desirable

Linguistic project management, journalistic, or translation background

Excellent knowledge of Office tools, interest in new technologies, computer savvy

Experience with Trados Studio a plus
