As an Accounting Manager, and reporting to the Finance Manager, with a Team of 2/3 people you will be responsible for assisting in all areas of Finance of CIBT Companies located in Spain, France and Switzerland as follows:

  • Assisting with the preparation of the year-end Financial accounts and Audit in accordance with local GAAP.
  • Coordinate and supervise daily and monthend accounting tasks (accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, travel & expense reimbursement, intercompany, fixed assets, cash management, account reconciliations, etc.) ensuring finance processes and finance policies are adhered to.
  • Assist on monthly P&L review to identify and understand variances to budget and prior month. Prepare business commentaries for submission to head office and MD.


  • Treasury management

  • Prepare shortterm cash flow forecasting and ensure consistency with the longterm plan.
  • Assisting on the preparation of annual budget, P&L & cash flow forecasts as appropriate.
  • Assist with initiatives to drive efficiencies and improve processes
  • Perform ad hoc projects and other duties as required

Education and Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of accounting experience
  • Expert knowledge of local reporting standard and experience working in US GAAP environment
  • Experience with Exact and Blackline desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent English speaking. Ability to present and communicate information. French or German would be a plus
  • Proven handson approach, proactive in nature and happy to take ownership of issues and resolves
  • High level of ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision
  • Previous experience with dealing with international internal / external stakeholders would be preferable
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
