The role


Within the role of Data Protection Officer, you will be the main contact person for all aspects of data protection.

You will be responsible for handling all data protection tasks within our legal entities in Europe, Middle East and the Americas.


The purpose of the DPO is to identify and manage risks related to data privacy and protection and escalate risks and issues to executives as needed.

Responsible for implementing the frameworks and means for data privacy.

The role is executed within a dynamic, challenging work environment with attention for the MajorelX company culture.

The Data Protection Officer / Legal Counsel is a new role based in Spain within our subsidiary Findasense.

The role will support the local business with its legal expertise and will fill the DPO role on a Majorel X level supporting our businesses in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.

In addition, the role will be part of the global data protection community within Majorel.

What will you do?

Practically, the DPO will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact within the organization for members of staff, regulators, and any relevant public bodies on issues related to data protection;
  • Implementing measures and a privacy governance framework to manage data use in compliance with the GDPR and other relevant data protection laws in the relevant regions
  • Working with key internal stakeholders in the review of projects to ensure compliance with relevant data privacy laws, and where necessary, complete and advise on privacy impact assessments;
  • Monitoring changes to relevant privacy laws and making recommendations to the business when appropriate;
  • Drafting new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Developing and delivering privacy training to various business functions;

Knowledge and Experience:


  • Degree in law
  • Máster en protección de datos y nuevas tecnologías
  • Valorable la certificación oficial DPO
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data protection, compliance and/or auditing
  • Knowledge of data protection legislation (GDPR as well as applicable laws in minimum one additional region e.g. Middle East and/or Americas)
  • Formal Data Protection certifica
