Job description:

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Sustainability Officer to join our team at Mantu.

This role, based in Madrid, presents an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in a dynamic environment that fosters learning and development.

Your primary responsibility will be to promote sustainable practices throughout our operations and play a key role in achieving our sustainability objectives.

AI & Automation:

Assist in identifying and deploying solutions to automate and facilitate data management, including reporting and carbon footprint assessment through AI technologies. '

Carbon Footprint Assessment (CFA)

Work on improving the CFA tool to incorporate external audit and consultants' feedback
Review and enhance data collection and verification processes using automation and AI.
Prepare for the 2024 CFA by assisting with data collection, verification, and tool improvement.

Carbon Brainprint

Support activities related to Carbon Brainprint, possibly by assisting in method development, data analysis, or stakeholder engagement.

Reporting

Contribute to the management of the reporting program.
Identify solutions for external audits of the sustainability report and participate in planning for external audits.
Implement improvements on current processes to align with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).
Prepare for the 2025 reporting period.

Materiality

Conduct the 2024 Materiality assessment and integrate the results into the reporting improvement plan, which could involve stakeholder consultation and data analysis.

People Engagement

Support and possibly lead the organization and animation of events related to sustainability, ensuring that these events run smoothly and achieve their engagement goals.

About You

You are currently pursuing a master's degree in business, sustainability, or related fields
Previous experience working within sustainability but more importantly you possess an eagerness to learn about this field.
Possess strong analytical skills along with a knack for data, analysis, calculation models and processes.
Have an interest or previous experience in AI technologies.
Showcase excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Demonstrate strong project management skills to organize events related to sustainability.
Possess a proactive attitude towards learning new concepts and adapting them into your work environment.
Mastery of generative AI such as ChatGPT is a plus for improving daytoday productivity
