Your Job:

Lead all accounting activities within in Iberia including preparation of the annual / quarterly / monthly FS
Implementation and optimization of accounting processes in relation with group policies
Responsibility over the general ledger and all subledgers
Responsible for FX and other financial instruments valuations and bookings, if required
Processing and control of payment flows and related processes
Contact person for all relevant questions for internal departments, auditors and tax authorities
Assessment of Tax issues and tax calculations (IS,VAT, others) in cooperation with tax advisors
Responsibility for the VAT returns in Iberia
Creation of all tax calculations / returns in cooperation with the tax advisors
Budgeting & forecasting for Iberia (P&L, BS, Liquidity)
Managing controlling activities in Iberia following corporate rules reporting HQ Controlling Group

Your profile:

Bachelor 's Degree in Accounting, Administration or Economics
At least fouryear work experience in leading accounting roles
Very good knowledge of accounting and tax law according to PGC (IFRS desirable)
Safe handling of accounting programs and experience in the introduction / further development of an ERP system (an advantage)
High level of commitment, communication and team skills
Fluent in Spanish and English. German or Portuguese would be an asset.
Willingness to travel and manage activities
