For a Major Group of Companies, We are seeking an experienced Business Central Developer with C/AL and AL experience to join a project team that will manage the company's migration from NAV 2016 to Business Central. The Business Central Developer will play a crucial role in the upgrade project and also continue to deliver and maintain extensions for the businesses thereafter. This role requires a deep understanding of C/AL and AL development and also of the functional aspects of the Dynamics NAV\Business Central ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse the current system and assist with upgrading and migrating existing C/AL codebase to AL, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project team members, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and document functional specifications and requirements for the upgrade project.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to the project team throughout the upgrade process.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of the upgraded system.
• Maintain and update system documentation, training materials, and best practices related to Business Central development.
• Be the gatekeeper to all AL extensions across the company and ensure they are compliant with Change Management and Microsoft Upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Developer.
• Proven experience in upgrading and migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central is a plus.
• Strong knowledge and experience with C/AL, AL, SQL, and .NET development.
• Experience with integration tools and methodologies, such as Web Services, API, and EDI.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Microsoft Dynamics Business Central certifications are a plus.
