We are seeking out an individual who acts as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer.

In your day-to-day as an engineer in the team you are a hands-on technical expert leading design and delivery of cloud platforms using best practices and knowledge to improve current processes and services.

The role requires specialist technical expertise in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD and strong communication and diplomacy skills to work with colleagues across-departments.

The role of has the following responsibilities:

Drive technology strategy by owning cloud platform infrastructure design (GCP, AWS, Azure). This requires strong collaboration across teams with architects and product owners, as well as guiding and coordinating the work of other engineers in the team.
Deliver infrastructureascode and peerreviewing code of colleagues, mainly using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Creating and using CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and integrated with multiple tools to enable security by design.
Enabling software developers to use CICD and infrastructureascode autonomously. We do this creating quality documentation, training sessions and delivering features together.
Driving adoption of DevSecOps and SRE practices.

What you bring:

Experience designing, engineering and/or operating largescale cloudcomputing platforms using GCP. AWS is a plus.
Experience designing & implementing automation tools and Infrastructureascode (e.g., Terraform, Terragrunt).
Experience working with Linux systems.
Foundation in TCP/IP and layer 3 protocols.
Experience or a desire to work with DevOps CI/CD toolchain (e.g. GitLab) is a plus.
