Responsibilities:


As an IT Intern at Ignion, you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that will contribute to the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure.


Your main activities will include:


  • Conducting physical inventory and accurately labeling ALL IT resources, ensuring an uptodate record of our technological assets.
  • Assisting in system updates to keep our IT environment secure and uptodate with the latest advancements.
  • Performing minor repairs and upgrades to various company equipment, enhancing their performance and efficiency.
  • Managing system additions and removals while ensuring the proper formatting of devices for outgoing employees.
  • Preparing equipment for new hires, enabling them to seamlessly integrate into our technologydriven workplace.
  • Collaborating with our IT team in the migration process from Windows 10 to 11, contributing to a smooth transition.
  • Ensuring the organization's IT infrastructure is wellorganized and the cabling is optimized for optimal efficiency.
  • Taking responsibility for organizing and maintaining a clean server room, the heart of our technological operations.
  • Participating in vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks in our systems, helping to strengthen our defenses against cyber threats.

Requirements:


  • We are seeking a techsavvy and proactive individual with a passion for IT and a strong desire to learn.
The following qualifications are required for this internship position:


  • Enrolled in a relevant ITrelated degree program.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 and an eagerness to learn and contribute to the migration to Windows 1
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate inventories.
  • A problemsolving mindset and the ability to handle minor equipment repairs and upgrades.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to work within a team.
