    Your Role

    The Senior Vice President, Chemicals Procurement, plays a pivotal leadership role overseeing procurement strategy and activities within the Aroma Molecules and Cosmetic Ingredients divisions.

    This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to develop and execute a forward-looking procurement strategy aligned with Symrise's business growth, innovation, and sustainability goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the procurement strategy for the Aroma Molecules and Cosmetic Ingredients divisions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Align procurement activities with Symrise's commitment to environmental and social sustainability, responsible sourcing practices, and regulatory standards worldwide.
    • Add value, mitigate supply chain risks, and deliver cost savings by building and maintaining strategic relationships with top chemical suppliers.
    • Drive innovation through new manufacturing routes and engaging in top-to-top supplier dialogues to secure long-term advantage.

    About You

    We are looking for an experienced professional with:

    • A degree in Purchasing/Procurement, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
    • 10-15 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within the chemicals industry.
    • A proven track record of successfully managing procurement operations in a global context.
    • Demonstrated success in creating and executing global procurement strategies that deliver cost efficiencies and innovation.
    • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
    • A deep understanding of chemical suppliers, market trends, and regulatory landscapes across regions.
