Job Description:

Position Purpose


Lead collaboration & efficiency project management tasks across the European Key Account team to ensure more alignment, better collaboration and a focus on implementing effective processes.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Take the lead in the development and implementation of process innovation and continuous business improvement initiatives across the EKA team, with a strong focus on reviewing and improving EKA's organisation's systems and processes to drive greater efficiencies and adherence to CHEP compliance/operational standards.
  • Support the EKA team to deliver better value and greater efficiency through business processes standardization and elimination of unnecessary complexity.
  • Provide an objective assessment of how well the EKA Team core business operates and give actionable tips to refine all aspects of the business, striving to make a business's processes easier, faster, better quality and more fit for purpose.
  • Identify opportunity for improving team effectiveness by mapping current existing internal, external and cross functional processes requiring excessive workload vs the expected output or reworking and proposing simplification, changes or alternatives.
  • Able to swiftly identify operational impact and underlying relationship in new process/systems, which are then translated into risks collaboration opportunities.
  • Own & Lead the Performance Review aimed at revising the progress vs the plans, and implement in strong alignment with the EKA the needed action to increase performance across countries. Define success & report criteria Performance Review process
  • Support the EKA Team in setting up, monitoring, and delivering projects by a clear implement plan. Ensure all work is fully aligned with team & business Mission and goals and be able to articulate this to the wider business
  • Drive continuous process improvement across the team to ensure that we provide, build and manage the relationships + actions necessary to deliver on our strategy.
  • Train the EKAD + BDMS on new processes in best practices and workflows
  • Support the EKAD Champions who lead collaboration with the different Business lines; in relation to the process information & process improvements as well as defining the best two way communication process to ensure full alignment and constant info exchanges

  • An EU based stakeholder group means ensuring you have strong influencing and engagement skills to ensure needs are captured and challenges highlighted.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Data Analytics Driven
  • Customer experience background
  • Project Management Qualification/training
Desirable Qualifications

  • Lean/Six Sigma qualification
Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business/Operation Process Improvement in a large, matrix organisation
  • Experience working cross functionally in a matrix and international environment, across multiple project contributors
  • Prior background in process improvement utilizing data and analytics for efficiencies and continuous improvement
  • Handson experience preparing and presenting recommendations to an audience of senior executives
  • Track record of improvement and change management success.
Skills and Knowledge

  • Very structural thinking and working
