We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our Flow Control team in Barcelona, Spain.

To be an excellent match with our team you need to have a systematic way to work and be an active team player with customer-oriented mindset.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Create opportunities and quotations replying to customer inquiries.
  • Make full use of internal quotation support team.
  • Review standard quotations to customers to meet their technical requirements.
  • Respond to enquiries from the organization's sales force or customers about Valmet products and services.
  • Support sales and the distribution channel.
  • Supports Claim handling
  • Liaise with sales support engineers and product management to ensure that products and services are modified, configured according to customer needs.
  • Process and check the orders to group factories and subsuppliers, using Order Handling team.
  • Supporting existing customers to the best product selection and share the feedback received from customers with own team
  • In cooperation with the Account Manager participate in seeking new customers.
  • Meet the quality and HSE criteria defined by Valmet.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, results driven, and customer focused.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Good IT tool skills
  • Valve products knowledge is preferrable but not mandatory
