What it's like working with us


You will be part of an entrepreneurial scale-up in a flat, coaching and knowledge driven culture with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

You will play a key role in leading Alight's Onsite
- / Behind-the
  • Meter (BtM) business, selling solar as a service solutions to large multinational companies with commercial
- and industrial sites across Europe.


Through comprehensive onboarding and continuous training, you will be involved in solar energy projects from early stage feasibility assessment and indicative offers to final solution and business case.

As a Client Executive you will drive Alight's BtM business in our core European markets by:


  • Leading Behind the Meter (BtM) sales in one of our core markets from origination to winning the supplier decision and signing the power purchase agreement (PPA)
  • Developing key accounts together with other Alight Client Executives based across Europe either in a lead or supporting role with focus on winning the local sites in your region
  • Adapting and executing our European GotoMarket strategy (direct and indirect with channel partners) to fit local market conditions
  • Project managing other sales project team members required to create and present winning solutions to our customers (e.g. Engineering, Site Development, Finance, Legal, Operations & Asset Management) or external consultants and partners
  • Planning and executing strategy workshops with customers, challenging them with insights on how to incorporate solar as part of their sustainability goals and energy management
  • Be our customers' trusted adviser on how to evaluate and execute on their solar energy rollout, and guide them through to successful implementation
  • Structuring and negotiating Power Purchasing Agreements (PPAs), terms and conditions and looking for opportunities to tailor our proposition to add customer value

Who you are


To succeed in this role, we believe that you have B2B sales experience, with a proven track-record of selling complex solutions to large corporations - ideally with a background from consulting and in the energy industry.


  • You have 5+ years of B2B sales experience towards large corporate customers
  • You have strong Project Management skills
  • You have sold through a team in a complex matrix organisation with various stakeholders on central and local levels
  • You are fluent in English and one of the European languages (French, German, Polish, Spanish or Swedish)
  • You have an Engineering or Business degree from a leading university
  • You are result oriented with strong analytical and social skills
  • Your are a team player who sees the intrinsic value in kind acts towards others
