We are delighted to be looking for a Senior 2D Artist to join one of our largest and most successful games.

We are looking for a strong hands-on artist able to collaborate with a team of incredibly talented artists and animators working on a huge Socialpoint IP.

Role Responsibilities

Explore and develop ideas into inspiring concepts.
Able to follow and develop briefings under an art direction as well as maintaining the visual style of the game.
Participate actively with the design and art teams to create unique and innovative solutions for visual problems.
Acts as a mentor for other artists, providing training in technical, artistic and industry knowledge.
Write detailed art briefings and provide feedback to external vendors and freelancers
Create and communicate ideas for new art pipelines and tools.
Collect all department knowledge and keep it up to date
Produce comprehensive guidelines and extensive documentation to elevate art production quality
Ensure and facilitate communication with other departments
Assist the lead while creating plannings and roadmaps through task time estimations

Desired Experience & Qualifications

High level of English, both written and spoken (English is our official language)

- +3 years + of experience in the gaming industry.

Expert knowledge of photoshop and a high capacity to learn new tools.
Extensive knowledge of art fundamentals such as composition, color theory, values, form, silhouette and shapes.
Able to receive and articulate constructive feedback
Able to provide and validate all (quality and technical) aspects of Art
Highly organized and able to act rationally and professionally under pressure.
Experienced collaborating with external vendors and outsourcing partners.
Highly proactive, selfdriven and customer focused
Great team player and always with a smile.
Previous team/task management experience will be a bonus
