Programme Quality Manager - Financial Crime Compliance

Ebury Malaga Office Based
The Programme Quality Manager will report into our Head of Financial Crime Transformation in the Financial Crime Compliance department. We are ideally looking for someone with strong, broad awareness of financial crime areas.


Responsibilities:


  • Central point of oversight across all Financial Crime changes driven by recommendations from auditors and external reviewers (collectively known as the Financial Crime Transformation Plan).
  • Support action owners to:
  • Understand closure process and requirements;
  • Leverage knowledge from previous audit items;
  • Develop closure packs to the appropriate quality;
  • Identify and resolve blockers and issues to recommendation closure;
  • Connect with other Group Teams where support is required to close recommendations.
  • Perform quality assurance on draft Closure Packs prior to submission to GIA (including high level QA of any underlying deliverables).
  • Liaison between Group Internal Audit (GIA) and action owners:
  • Obtain feedback (both on individual closure packs and thematic feedback) from GIA and distribute as appropriate;
  • Ensure that audit feedback is addressed by action owners on a timely basis.
  • Monthly status reporting (using data provided by Programme Coordinator):
  • Monthly status report for CMO;
  • FCTP Steering Committee;
  • FC Working Group;
  • Financial Crime Executive Committee;
  • Regional Packs;
  • Board Packs;
  • Ad hoc reporting (e.g. spotlight papers).
  • Monthly update on new recommendations received:
  • Share information with Group Teams and Regional MLROs on recent audit points.
  • Policy and Procedure Oversight:
  • Perform quality assurance on updates to policy and procedures (both first line and second line);
  • Ensure compliance with documentation style guides and standards.
  • Documentation and Filing Standards:
  • Develop and Implement documentation and filing standards across Compliance;
  • Monitor compliance with standards.
