Our
Global Quality Systems Training Manager will have a high impact on Novartis. As regulatory requirements mandate effective training for SOPs your role will help to prevent regulatory risks to our business.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for ensuring GxP Training compliance in Global Drug Development; monitoring the Training system by assuring the proper implementation of the Training SOP, supporting audits and measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of the Training system.
- Ensure the proper implementation of the annual Quality Training Plan, leading the development and delivery of required training programs, providing quarterly reporting to management, and annual compliance report.
- Ensure globally harmonized approach for creating process/taskbased curricula as part of job qualification in Learning Management System.
- Active partner in learning networks and expert panels to ensure collaboration for a streamlined, innovative and compliance training approach throughout Novartis and actively engage in GxP communication and knowledge management initiatives.
- Effectively establish, deepen and sustain key relationships with Global Drug Development and Global Development Quality senior stakeholders, and demonstrate an understanding of processes and methodology in order to provide appropriate learning solutions for crossfunctional, mandatory training based on training needs analysis.
- Support capabilitybuilding strategies in Global Development Quality, with clear definition of core competencies, key knowledge areas, behavioral indicators, to optimize individual and team performance to ensure business success.
- Lead Author for specific SOPs/Global Work Instructions related to training.
- Be a role model for the Novartis values and behaviors and support the journey towards an inspired, curious, unbossed and selfaware organization.

Minimum requirements
What you will bring to the role:
Education
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or related fields.
Professional experience
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within development.
- Demonstrated leadership in implementing robust training programs and quality systems in a regulated area
- Training and Curricula development experience
- Preparation, development and administration of training programs and systems
Your profile
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a global/matrix environment.
Languages
- Fluency in English (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of a second European language is an advantage
