Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a
Senior CAD Technician for for in-house structural design of a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to, bridges, earth retaining structures, underground structures and building structures, to join our busy and expanding experienced team.

The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects.

Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East.

You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team.

It can be a great opportunity for Senior CAD Technician that wants to boost his/her professional career on structural drafting.

The responsibilities of this role include:

Performs the role of CAD Leader or CAD Manager, when required, splitting the different tasks over the team of CAD Technicians assigned to the project in the best way, monitoring the progress vs schedule and providing technical support to the team involved as needed
Analyzes and adheres to the project CAD standards or set CAD procedures if not provided
Prepares finished design drawings from sketches, notes and layout details in CAD 2D and 3D
Performs QAQC of CAD work developed by others.
Works in a teambased environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices
Performs the responsibilities under limited supervision
Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements
- +10 year experience working as CAD Technician on bridges and structures

Experience leading or managing CAD Technician teams
Expert in the use of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)
Communicative level of English (oral and written)
Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise
Proficiency in drafting using Autodesk Revit deriving drawings from 3D models will be considered favourable
