SCIB is looking for a
VP in the
M&A Consumer, Retail and Healthcare Sector Corporate Finance Team, based in our
MADRID office (alternatively it could be based in London)
.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a
VP in the
M&A Consumer, Retail and Healthcare (CRH) Sector Corporate Finance Team, you will help us in different fronts:

  • Support the Consumer, Retail and Healthcare Industry Group in originating and executing M&A and Equity Capital Market mandates.
  • Take direct coordination and execution responsibilities in all assignments.
  • Provide detailed research on the CRH sector including trends, sector analysis to assist the whole M&A franchise pitching ideas to clients.
  • Build detailed financial models to analyze the impact of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, leveraged buyouts and capital raises on earnings, cash flow, credit profile and ownership.
  • Perform company valuations using various valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable and prepare internal and external presentations.
  • Take responsibility in managing the junior team assigned to each project, demonstrating leadership and coaching skills.

EXPERIENCE

  • 57 years of experience in M&A from a toptier investment bank, big four, private equity, etc

EDUCATION

  • Graduate from toptier business/engineering schools.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, as well as in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a truly international environment.
  • Team worker.
  • Emotional intelligence.
  • Strong interest in the Consumer, Retail and Healthcare industries.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of emerging markets such as LatAm or Eastern Europe
  • Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English is required (an additional language such as Portuguese would be a plus).
