    We are a sustainable infrastructure company primarily focused on renewable energy assets. Our mission is to drive the transition towards a more sustainable world by investing in and managing sustainable infrastructure, while delivering long-term value to our investors and stakeholders. Our current portfolio includes 40 renewable energy assets with a capacity of 2,048 MW, 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines, and other sustainable assets. We are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Engineer to work with and strengthen our Health & Safety team based in Seville's office.

    Responsibilities

    • Implementation of Company Health and Safety policies and best practices in power generation, transmission lines and water plant assets, coordinating this activity with the different Operation & Maintenance contractors.
    • Audits and visits to the assets in different countries to monitor Health and Safety conditions, Operation & Maintenance safety performance and the level of implementation of best practices, procedures, standards, legal requirements, etc.
    • Safety cultural change projects management in our assets, such as Safestart, Dupont-Bradley, etc.
    • Control & follow-up of Health and Safety for Atlantica employees in different offices: training, medical examinations, emergency instructions.
    • Elaboration of safety documents such as risk assessments, hygienic measurement reports, inspection reports, etc.
    • Coordination with other departments and geographies of the Company and technical advising in Health and Safety.
    • Control & follow up of the Health and Safety Management Systems of Atlantica based on ISO:45.001: procedures, audits, records.
    • Control & follow up of Health and Safety Key Performance Indicators provided by different geographies, performing statistical analysis and consolidation reports to the Head Management.
    • Make presentations in power point for committee meetings, training sessions, etc.
    • Control of Health and Safety documents (records, reports, etc.).

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in any Engineering or other related field.
    • Desirable master or post graduate studies in Health & Safety subjects.
    • Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C1 level is a must.
    • A self-motivated, proactive, and independent thinker that shows initiative.
    • Orientation to actions and results.
    • Enthusiastic, constant, and disciplined person.
    • Collaborative and inclusive mindset.
    • Previous experience in problem-solving, strong analytical and technical skills.
    • The ability to effectively communicate and report business and Head Management.

    Technical Qualifications

    • Experience of at least 3 years as experience as a H&S corporate department or similar.
    • Knowledge of Safety Culture change programs (Safestart, Dupont-Bradley, etc.).
    • Experience in power generation sector and/or in chemical industry.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced Excel is a must).
