RecruitGibraltar is helping one of our clients who need an Administration and Social Media Assistant to work remotely on a 30 hours a week basis, however, you will be required to come to the business premises in Sotogrande once a week to meet with the Director and/or other team members.

Flexible working hours are offered and encouraged, based on a mature attitude to this, however, core hours are expected to be from 8.30 am to 14:30 pm Monday to Friday.

You will be fluent in Spanish (ideally your first language), preferably with a good standard of English.

What is the plan for the Administration and Social Media Assistant role?


The client is actively seeking to fill a new role to alleviate some of the pressures within the current team.

This role is for an Administration Assistant who has experience in organising and delivering simple social media activities.

What will you do as an Administration and Social Media Assistant?

The principal responsibilities will include reporting to both the Operations and Client Manager and the Bookkeeper of the company to:
Provide administrative assistance to the Director of the company and to the Ops Manager as required.
Resolve issues with various utilities companies, Town Hall and other institutions as required.
Provide assistance to the Ops Manager with bookings, reservations, supplier chasing and queries.

Responsible for the delivery and oversight of a number of Social media accounts and marketing activities as directed by the Director of the company.

Organising mail and filing to ensure the filing and other systems are in good order.

Responsible for arranging holiday rental licences from end to end as appropriate and registering holiday rental tenants on the Guardia Civil system.

You will have previous experience in administration
You will have experience and be confident with delivering a number of Social Media based marketing activities.

You will have an excellent eye for detail, excel when troubleshooting problems, a self-starter that thrives when working under their own motivation and to tight deadlines.

You will be detail and process orientated, incredibly organised, diligent and professional.

You will be tenacious with solving problems and problems and not be put off by roadblocks or complexities in your way.

You will be comfortable working for a company that provides excellent service standards to a number of high end international clients that demand very high standards of quality, care and attention.

Salary €1100 to €1250 a month net based on experience.
