Key Accountabilities

Ensuring smooth running of daytoday export operations, providing feedback and ideas to improve processes
Coordinating the schedule of deliveries of main equipment to the site (that includes but not limited to solar panels, mounting structure, cables, pipes, transformers, inverters, MV kiosks, LV kiosks, client building etc.)
Liaise with the management team to identify any potential problems.
Working closely with the project managers and site engineers to ensure timely delivery of the equipment on site including regular contact with the procurement team, suppliers, forwarders and ports.
Identifying local resources, materials, services (for instance aggregates, concrete etc)
Dealing with local suppliers in order to arrange the timely delivery of all the materials on site
Checking the quantity and quality of materials received from all main equipment suppliers and local suppliers in order to ensure that no deviations from the delivery notes exist
Completing the goods received notes
Reporting any deviations or damages to the delivered equipment from the main equipment and local suppliers to the project managers and project director
Keeping and filing all the delivery notes
Keeping meticulous spreadsheets of all main equipment and local suppliers equipment received on the site, reporting back to the project manager
Overseeing the unloading by the main subcontractor, reporting any damages to the site engineers, project managers and project director.
Preparing daily, weekly, monthly delivery reports and documentation for the project managers on the delivered materials and projected deliveries

Requirements:

Education Requirements

BSc in electrical/civil/ mechanical engineering is considered an advantage
HSE qualifications & first aider is considered an advantage

Knowledge Requirements

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and particularly Excel essential
Working experience of logistics programs and platforms is considered an advantage
Meticulous attention to detail essential
Excellent communication and management skills

Preferred Work Experience

Proven track record of materials management in the construction industry essential, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Proven track record of materials management in the construction of solar plants is considered an advantage
Having worked in Spain is considered an advantage
