    Summary

    As a Supply Chain Cost Analyst , you will provide the financial analysis of our Supply Chain processes. Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Supply Chain Cost analysis, you will provide in-depth analysis on the different areas of the 'Total landed costs', such as Sourcing, Intercompany Shipping, Production and Freight out costs. You will map the impact of changes and enable Network optimization projects with the objective to minimize the supply chain and inventory costs, whilst maximizing our service levels to our customers.

    • Provide expertise as EU Total landed cost expert across both business units, UK&I and Continental Europe
    • Share in-depth financial knowledge of cost drivers to analyse the impact of changes in the supply chain
    • Elevate the EU Supply Chain analysis into Supply Chain Network optimisation, including Sourcing, Intercompany shipping, production and Freight out costs. You will provide fact-based analysis by exploding the Bill of Material Information and assessing the sourcing changes on supplier footprint, adding the Intercompany shipping and import/export cost, drilling down in the production cost being activity based, mapping freight out the cost to assess network changes impact.
    • Make business case comparisons of current versus future state of transferring production or distribution volumes from one site to another.
    • Make recommendations on supply chain network changes, factoring in customer and supplier supply chain flow changes.
    • Broadening the scope of the S&OP process with cost, cash and sustainability metrics. Expand the current set of KPIs in the S&OP monthly rhythm.
    • Support driving continuous improvement in Supply Chain Cost and Sustainability analysis.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Applied Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.
    • Typically, this position would require a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in SC Cost calculations (Production cost, Sourcing cost or Freight out costs).
    • Fluency in English. Dutch and/or Spanish would be valuable.
    • Advanced level of Excel
    • Knowledge of Power BI
    • Actively seeks self-development and new ways to grow
    • Able to work collaboratively with others across Supply Chain to meet shared objectives
    • Demonstrated effective multitasking and active learning skills
