Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a
Civil Technician with advanced experience in Alignment and Grading/ surface modeling to join our Madrid Linear Infrastructures team.

We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as a standalone civil infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Our clients are from the private and public sectors and include long-term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors.

You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most important Civil projects in Europe and Spain.

The responsibilities of this role include:

Creates advanced Grading and Earthworks modeling of linear and urban infrastructures.
Ability to process and interpret data from different sources: surveys, field measurements, LiDAR, etc.
Performs a selfcheck of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.
Works in a teambased environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices.
Performs the responsibilities under limited supervision.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience working as an alignment technician or modeler in Civil projects, preferably related to linear infrastructures or urbanization projects.
Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written)
Technical education related to Engineering
Advanced level in geometric design and 3D modeling using any of the following software: Istram, Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRail/OpenRoads Designer, etc.
Knowledge in international regulations and standards will be considered favorably.
Experience working with geological mapping will be a plus.
Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to work under strict timelines.
