Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for the role of BIM Manager - Transportation, this position is responsible for managing the implementation of BIM and Information Management on projects for Enterprise Capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Engage and deliver BIM implementation on projects for global AECOM regions
- Establish and administer the CDE and support the efficient management of project information from multiple stakeholders
- Liaise with Project Leadership and coordinate and align BIM execution with the project's delivery programme
- Create and maintain BIM Execution Plans, Master Information Delivery Plans and other project documents such as the Model Production Delivery Table or LOD matrices and the inputs needed prior to deadlines
- Technical Support establish data integrated workflows for Transportation projects and provide guidance and training to project teams.
- BIM Technology oversee the use of digital technology for design, collaboration, coordination and delivery
- Quality lead quality assurance control procedures for BIM and create templates and reports for model check QAQC
- Collaboration be an ambassador for collaboration with other BIM / Information Management team members from different Enterprise Capabilities offices (Spain, Poland, India, South Africa, Romania, etc). drive consistency in standards and best practice approaches for BIM across regions
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards
- Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Transportation projects with geographically dispersed teams
- Experience delivering BIM data from Civil and Structural design and BIM software such as any of the following; Revit, Civil3D, InfraWorks, OpenRoads, OpenRail
- Experience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Bentley ProjectWise
- Strong background in technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Transportation projects, as well as civil structures and utilities
- 6+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field
- Demonstratable portfolio of BIM for Transportation projects
- International experience working with global project teams.
Australia, USA, Canada, UK and Ireland will be considered favourable
- CV in English language
- Communication
- Fluent in English (oral and written), a team player and mentor, and exceptional interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or a related discipline project execution or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
