Accounting, Compliance & Reporting Role

We are looking for an Accounting and Tax Technician to provide outsourced Administration and Finance services with knowledge of accounting, billing, customer and supplier management, treasury, and tax preparation and filing.

The opportunity

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, Spain, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.

You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities

The main functions to be performed will be:

Management, verification and registration of invoices received, resolution of discrepancies related to invoice processing and payment management.
Posting of invoices issued and received and reconciliation of accounting accounts.
Management of purchase orders: creation of the order, registration of the request in the accounting system, monitoring of the order and management of possible incidents with suppliers.
Carrying out reconciliations, bank positions and support to the audit process.
Provision of backoffice services in the treasury area (guarantee management, cash

- management and budgeting).

Execution, review and reporting of accounting closures in the Spanish GAAP.
Preparation and presentation of taxes (VAT, CIT, withholdingtax, Intrastat, etc.).
Preparation of annual accounts filing of official books and deposits.

Skills and attributes for success

Vocational Degree in Business Administration and Managemen, or similar.
Professional experience in accounting process outsourcing projects.

To qualify for the role you must have

Good skills in English (oral and written communication).
Advanced command of office tools (Excel, Outlook, Databases, etc.).

Ideally, you'll also have

Userlevel experience in systems: SAP, Navision, CRM Dynamics 365 and Business Intelligence
Master ́s degree in Tax and Accounting advice.
