    We are looking for an adaptable and detail-oriented Global Internal Events Specialist to join our global communications team

    As a Global Internal Events Specialist, you will work alongside our Events & Merchandising Specialist to ensure the effective management and continued quality of major annual event Adevinta Ignite and the delivery of our other internal events throughout the year.

    You will also own all the communications campaigns related to these events, have the opportunity to assist with our quarterly company All Hands and help with other ad-hoc responsibilities in between.

    We are looking for someone that has exemplary organisation skills, a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

    This role reports into the Communications Strategic Operations Senior Manager, within the People & Communications function of Adevinta.

    You will join us on a full-time, fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave until end of October 2024 (TBC). Be aware that this is a hybrid role and the main office is based in Barcelona.

    What you'll do:

    • You will plan and deliver company-wide events and communication campaigns in collaboration with the Merchandising and Events Specialist
    • You will be managing third-party vendors (e.g. event and creative agencies) or contractors as needed to support delivery of key activities and events.
    • You will collect feedback and data, and use analysis and insights to continuously improve events and activities.
    • Maintain constructive relationships with the wider communications team to ensure consistent and reasonable delivery of internal events and communications to all Adevintans
    • Collaborate with the Global Functions, local internal comms professionals and workplace teams to ensure successful planning, execution and delivery of key internal events
    • Attend events when necessary
    • Actively make the Communications team a great place to work, through contributing ideas, knowledge, success stories and lessons learned to the Communications community

    Who you are:

    • Bachelors or Master's degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • 2–3 years' progressively proven experience of organising and managing events and communications or other relevant disciplines
    • You are fluent in English, both conversational and written and have a good knowledge of Spanish and/or French
    • Experience in delivering internal communications and events, including managing event budgets and agencies to support delivery
    • Experience of working with senior stakeholders and building partnerships across functions and markets
    • Experience in managing third party vendor relationships
    • Experience in working across multiple geographies and cultures
    • Proficient in Google Suite
