- Apply defined strategy for all suppliers' panel and assigned product families: develop, promote, globalize, replace or eliminate suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve business objectives.
- Lead all the assigned suppliers' problems, following the escalation matrix.
- Manage all assigned project-purchasing activities, following FICOSA Development Systems (FDS) and ensuring project objectives.
- Negotiate and implement technical savings with suppliers.
- Lead sourcing processes to ensure reaching quality, price and service objectives.
- Present the sourcing processes in assignments committee for the assigned suppliers.
- Develop and ensure the necessary information is relayed to the assigned suppliers (current and potential) for the Commodity Manager, in order to allow proper product family strategy monitoring.
- Participate in purchasing monthly report processes for all projects and suppliers that are assigned.
- Apply all standard methodologies according to Ficosa's Purchasing System.
- Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.
