Do you have a passion for architecting complex IT solutions?

We are seeking a talented Presales Solutions Architect to join our growing multi-service Integration organization.


In this role, you will be an integral part of the client service team, solutioning large, multi-tower engagements across multiple business units.

The focus is on the technical decisions regarding the solution and how they impact the business outcomes.

You will craft top-notch solutions for our clients' transformation and outsourcing requirements.

You will define and drive business-IT solutions that use innovative business processes, architectural and technical frameworks to provide client partners with viable, high value solutions to complex business problems.


The role focuses in:

  • How technology can be used to solve a given business problem
  • Which framework, platform, or techstack can be used to create a solution
  • How things will scale for the future and how they will be maintained
  • Figuring out the risk in thirdparty frameworks/platforms
  • Finding a solution to a business problem.
What will be your main responsibilities?

  • Drive Solutioning for complex deals involving multiple service lines and technical disciplines as part of RFI, RFP and informal deal processes.
  • Lead a multifunctional team of tower authorities across their respective domains.
  • Work closely with clients, intermediaries and internal Cognizant technical domain authorities to build high impact solutions.
  • Define solution vision and direction building on commonalities and benefits across lines of business and technologies.
  • Envision a transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the partner client.
  • Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into creative and innovate businesstechnology solutions and ensure consistency across traditional solution boundaries.
  • Own and manage the Bid team and taking responsibility for all aspects to respond to a formal RFP/RFI/RFQ/etc.
  • Development of the overall Solution by ensuring the customer needs are fully understood and then tying it to the Cognizant value proposition.
  • Managing the relationship between multiple solution, account and leadership team to make sure everyone is aligned to the proposed solution and also on the investment required(if applicable)
  • Control the pricing narrative by optimizing the base effort and then work creatively with the pricing/finance team on commercial models.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding and experience in both formal and informal pursuits and devising winning sales strategies
  • More than 5 years of experience in Pre-Sales or Sales role with customer interaction to present solution
  • Led endtoend RFP/RFI process consisting multidisciplines in scope in Deal Solution Architect capacity
  • Thorough understanding of pricing and involved in preparing commercial modeling of the solution
  • Excellent Peoplemanagement skill in managing a large team in complex engagement, distributed model (onsite/offshore)
  • Prior experience in both delivery and account management experience including responsibility for client relationships, revenue/Profit, Delivery, etc.
