What is the Role?
This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe


You will join a Renewables business that will lead activities across several Southern European countries with our major Hub in Spain.

The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode.

The main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants - mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.


As part of the Technical Team, you will participate and support the development and design of Wind, Solar PV Plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in our portfolio.


Some of your main accountabilities may include:

  • New project evaluation and approval (Green field and acquisitions).
  • Analysis of solar projects' energy production, including site visits, design of measurement campaigns, data processing and verification of its quality, perform data correlation analysis, modelling solar energy, defining energy losses, performing statistical analysis and uncertainty estimation.
  • Assess site topography, solar and environmental conditions for the design and optimization of the layout, selecting technically the most appropriate solar module/inverter.
  • Analysis of the possible hybridization of the solar projects with other technologies (wind farms, batteries,).
  • Develop different tools to size up solar installations in the most optimal way.

What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Proven experience on analysis and design of PV solar assets.
  • Fluent English and availability to travel internationally when required.
  • Experience working on multiproject and multidiscipline teams.
  • Knowledges on related software. From PVSyst, PVCAD, PVCase, PV*SOL, PVGIS,to Global Mapper, AUTOCAD/QGIS.
  • Positive attitude with focus on results and problem solving.
