About the Position:


We are in search of an Engineering Director to play a pivotal role in deploying their platform to the market.

This individual will collaborate with a skilled cross-functional team to drive customer onboarding and success.

Responsibilities include scaling the delivery team, managing the Alcala Madrid office, overseeing customer engagement, solution architecture, integration, DevOps, and support functions.

The Engineering Director will work closely with leadership and customer-facing roles to execute their strategic vision.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's and/or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing largescale deployments for enterprise customers.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in serverside software, consumerfacing UX, personalization, analytics/AI, and tooling.
  • Knowledge of SAAS onboarding and associated processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to scale delivery capabilities.
  • Proficiency in DevOps, continuous improvement, Agile methodologies, and digital transformation processes.
  • Familiarity with industrystandard tooling for enterprise CMS, DXPs, journey management, and mobile/web app technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with leadership to define overall delivery strategy.
  • Manage and scale the delivery function.
  • Work with commercial and operations teams to draft statements of work and manage platform cloud costs.
  • Define epics and stories for delivery and new customer onboarding in Agile (Scrum) teams.
  • Create an inspiring team environment and set clear goals.
  • Delegate tasks, oversee daytoday operations, and monitor team performance.
  • Provide coaching, resolve issues, and recognize high performance.
  • Encourage creativity, risktaking, and team building activities.

Location:
Alcala De Henares (Madrid) office with hybrid remote working.
