's Group

About the research group


The Stem Cell Potency group of IDIBELL's Regenerative Medicine Program has longstanding interest and expertise in the generation, genetic manipulation, and directed differentiation of pluripotent stem cells, as well as in advanced tissue engineering strategies.


About the role

Job requirements
Professional experience

  • Strong background in mammalian cell culture
  • Handson experience working with bioreactors
Education and training

  • Higher Technical Certificate (CFGS) and/or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a sciencerelated discipline
Technical and soft skills

  • Strong familiarity with aseptic technique, media preparation, and using cell culture equipment including laminar flow hoods and incubators
  • Team player, capacity to work autonomously, planning capacity, analytical and critical thinking, ethics, and integrity
Languages

  • Good command of the English language

We will value, but not required

  • Expertise in microcarrierbased cell culture will be a plus

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV).

The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
