The Position

QEHS Manager

Job Summary

• Reports to: Site Manager

Main tasks:

EHS:

• Achieves EHS objectives by enforcing safe practices and enhancing safety policies as per company standards. Ensures full compliance with all safety procedures.
• Provides guidance on EHS programs at all levels to maintain a consistent and effective approach.
• Reviews and manages EHS incidents, conducts field audits, and oversees corrective actions.
• Ensures contractor compliance with safety requirements.
• Assists line management in implementing effective EHS measures.
• Conducts training programs and coordinates inspections by regulatory agencies.
• Maintains relationships with regulatory bodies.

Quality:

• Achieves quality objectives by implementing standards, resolving issues, and identifying improvements.
• Develops quality assurance plans, conducts analyses, and validates quality processes.
• Improves product quality by conducting audits, investigating complaints, and collaborating with other departments.
• Prepares quality documentation and reports.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Engineering; preferably Industrial Engineer
• Experience: Over 5 years in Quality and EHS roles in an industrial setting.
• Experience in food and/or pharma sectors is a plus.
• Languages: Advanced English, Native Spanish
• Other skills: Strong stakeholder interaction, ability to work autonomously while being a team player, commitment to safety.
