E-Mobility Senior Account Manager

E-mobility allows us to move away from CO2-emitting fossil fuels towards energy supplied from electrical power sources which are, in turn, charged through the electricity grid.

By decarbonizing the transport sector, E-mobility will create a cleaner, healthier, and more affordable future for everyone.

DLL's E-Mobility strategy aims to play a leading role in the energy transition by offering financing solutions towards the market that will facilitate this decarbonization process.


The E-Mobility Senior Account Manager is a new energizing and essential role within DLL, helping to contribute to the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future and help us to implement our E-Mobility strategy.

As the Senior Account Manager for E-Mobility in Spain and Portugal, you will be responsible for

1) DLL's return on investment in Inquieto, a Spanish last mile delivery company in which DLL has invested.

You will be located in their head office (in Madrid) 2/3 days a week, working closely with their Management and Sales team, learning their business & identifying market trends.

Understand the customer journey intimately and develop eMobility product strategies to ensure DLL capture all leasing opportunities. Continually educate DLL (eMobility team, Risk, Asset Management etc.) on developments in this market sector. (40%)

2) generating new business volume through Inquieto & other existing channels of our E-Mobility Vendors, as well as developing new relationships with potential local E-Mobility Vendors and direct clients.

In this dual role, you will contribute to the further robustness and implementation of the E-Mobility strategy on a bottom-up basis within Construction, Transportation and Industrial CT&I.

Working within the framework of the E Mobility Strategy and resulting sales plans, you will interact with Vendor Services, Risk Management, Asset Management, Sales Support and Portfolio Management on a regular basis as well with the international colleagues within E Mobility and the Energy Transition.


Day to day:


  • Working with Inquieto, monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
  • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decisionmakers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics to sales team,
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy, structure, and best practices,
  • Support deal structure and pricing with businessvalue analysis and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
  • Consistent E-Mobility Vendor support, outreaching to introduce our finance programs to their enduser customers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with independent dealers.
  • Continuous training and reinforcement for both E-Mobility Vendors, sales representatives, and dealers
  • Constant relationship management throughout all levels of E Mobility Vendors organization
  • Forecasting, tracking and pipeline management for transactions.
  • Provide internal training & maintain awareness of the E Mobility strategy within country.
  • Finding and building relationships with local E Mobility Vendors and direct clients
  • Structuring knowledge and creativity, will be required to develop customer relevant solutions.
  • Prepare and manage complex, structured transactions and accounts, working collaboratively with our risk team and other internal functions.
  • Preparing and presenting documentation for review in credit and risk approval committees.
  • Working as part of a highly networked international matrix environment.
  • Work with Rabobank closely to develop any of their identified opportunities.
