    What You'll Do

    As a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) within BCG's Operations Practice Area (PA) you will execute and coordinate business operational support for PA tasks globally, working as part of the OPS PA Management Team and directly supporting the Practice Area's Leadership. In your role, you will coordinate people affiliation and related initiatives, monitor budgets and the people and business pipelines, conduct analyses, as well as manage leadership events and calls.

    You will also independently plan, coordinate and execute internal PA meetings, seeking guidance as needed, from invitation management through to agenda coordination, tracking and logistical support as well as expense and budget management. With time you will also help to update and maintain key PA sources and help others navigate the PA ecosystem.

    YOU'RE GOOD AT

    • Executing defined tasks independently, seeking guidance as needed
    • Thinking proactively with a forward-thinking attitude bringing excellent organisation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
    • Acting as the PA representative in the PA community, building your network with other PACs, learning from best practices
    • Planning and coordinating regional and global meetings with precision and attention to detail
    • Solving problems with a forward-thinking mindset and suggesting workarounds
    • Developing judgement, starting to contribute beyond the PA, thinking analytically through alternatives

    What You'll Bring

    • 2-4+ years relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
    • Ability to execute defined tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
    • Ability to effectively coordinate day today work; apply working knowledge of primary function and demonstrating the ability to solve problems within own role
    • Strong organizational and planning skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Ability to think analytically, adopting out the box thinking
    • Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude
    • Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
    • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

    Who You'll Work With

    You will coordinate closely with Global and Regional PA Leaders, the Global Practice Management Director and the OPS Practice Are Management & Operations team, as well as the Business Services team, alongside Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.
