    We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director with a strong background in employee relations and labor relations, particularly within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or shared services industries. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that foster positive employee relations while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations specific to the BPO/shared services sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the BPO/shared services environment, promoting a positive work culture and aligning with company goals.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering effective communication and collaboration to support the unique needs of the BPO/shared services workforce.
    • Oversee employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management, with a focus on maintaining high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for labor relations within the BPO/shared services industry, including union negotiations, contract administration, and grievance handling, as applicable.
    • Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations specific to the BPO/shared services sector and ensure compliance across all HR activities.
    • Partner with senior management to develop and implement workforce planning strategies that address the dynamic nature of the BPO/shared services business model.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance HR processes and practices within the BPO/shared services context.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • 8+ years of progressive HR experience within the BPO or shared services industries, with a focus on employee relations and labor relations.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations relevant to the BPO/shared services sector, including those related to remote work arrangements, data privacy, and international labor standards.
    • Proven experience in negotiating labor contracts and resolving labor disputes within the BPO/shared services context.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, including with remote and culturally diverse teams.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives in the BPO/shared services environment.
