The Opportunity:

commercetools encourages critical thinking and data-driven decision-making. To support our data strategy, we are hiring an experienced Data Analyst. In this role, you will act as a catalyst for change in how commercetools stores, processes, and utilizes data.

Our goal is to create new dashboards and reports using Tableau to provide a user-friendly and intuitive experience to our internal users.

Your Mission:

Design and implement our BI solution (Tableau), ensuring that all data protection requirements are met
Support Data Engineers in planning and developing new data models that allow userfriendly, customized reporting
Support the various international business units by giving them access to BI solutions tailored to their needs and create customized dashboards based on those data models
Drive the right strategy to continuously increase dashboard performance
Collaborate with team members to collect data and execute the company's mission
Analyze business requirements and processes, providing recommendations to management and executives for implementation
Identify development needs to streamline and improve the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability

What you need to succeed:

3+ years of professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence on the Analysis and Administration side
Experience managing complex BI projects
A proven track record of successfully implementing and administrating BI reports using Tableau
Excellent knowledge of Tableau
Sound knowledge of query and data manipulation languages e.g. SQL, etc.
Good understanding of data structures and data management
Strong analytical thinking skills
Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
A naturally proactive approach with the ability to bring new ideas to fruition in a solutionoriented way
Fluency in English

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform solutions and/or basic Python
