He/she shall develop the interfacing with the rest of systems of the project (TRAIN/TCMS/ /MVB/ATP/ATO/ETH) and with T&C team until the commission of the whole system.

Additionally he/she shall liaise with the RAM, Safety and/or V&V for a correct communication of the design requirements and decisions to be assessed, tested or demonstrated.

MISSION AND MEASUREMENT.

Technical Indicators related to project development, change control, configuration, technical documentation, and requirements management.

ACCOUNTABILITIES.
Is accountable for keeping of Solution or specific engineering processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES.

System design (Architecture, Interfaces & Installation)
Installation Verification
Technical management (configuration, change control and requirements).
Take responsibility for the overall performance of the system and the allocation of the project performance requirements and ensure that these requirements are met.
Control the collection of technical data (Data Book) and keep it up to date.
To participate in the Gate Reviews (give status on system activities).

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS.

Educational Requirements:

University degree (MEng) preferably) in engineering related to electric, electronic or automation processes.

Technical Knowledge / Experience:

3 years with internal experience as OnBoard Railways Engineer o similar in other markets.
At least 1 year of experience as system engineer.
Technical knowledge: Signalling, ERTMS, TCMS, MVB, ATP, ATO, SIFA, system design, Installation design, Installation Verification, Data Preparation.
Knowledge on UNISIG Subsets, specially Subset026, 108, 027 & 076 is an advantage.
Command of English: fluent in conversation and mastered in reading and writing.
French is mandatory. (at leat B2 level).
Windows environment (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)

Must be able to work closely with the project team and provide appropriate technical solutions and support.
Must have strong motivational skills, and must be able to establish positive relationship with customer, contractors and other Alstom departments to ensure maximum success for the project.
Shall demonstrate good learning and adaptation capabilities together with nice communication and teaching skills.
Open minded Flexible and Available.

TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Availability to work nightshift and weekends (occasionally).
Driving license.
Sometimes travel will be required, in special during the preliminary design and commissioning phase of the project.
