    As a Data Scientist, you will be developing tools and technologies that leverage data from a variety of sources to increase supply chain efficiencies and provide value to our customers.

    Key Accountabilities Responsible for supporting project and resultsProjects have increased company-wide importance and visibilityResponsible for supporting the development of internal and external customer projectsSupporting end-to-end implementation of algorithms and required data storage mechanisms as reusable servicesSuccessful production use of data science results, with a focus on digital productsResponsible for communicating methods and results to stakeholdersResponsible for learning new data science techniques / algorithms / programming languages and exploring their viability on current projectsWill contribute to data science team discussions, providing insight as needed on current approaches and methodsQualifications Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Information Systems and / or equivalent formal training plus work experienceBS & 3+ years of work experienceMS & 1+ years of work experiencePhD

    Experience and Skills Proficient with machine learning and statisticsProficient with Python, deep learning frameworks, Computer Vision, SparkHave produced production level algorithmsProficient in researching, developing, synthesizing new algorithms and techniquesExcellent communication skills Participated in numerous data science projectsUtilized several data science methodologiesResearched and implemented new techniquesHave worked autonomously and delivered results on scheduleHave presented results to non-data scientist audienceSkills and knowledge Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithmsKnowledge of implementing Data Science or Machine Learning algorithmsExperience with common statistical techniques and data science toolkitsGreat communication and influencing skills, with the ability to utilize data to justify business decisions.

    Strong quantative and analytical skills and experience with data visualisation tools.

    Proficiency in using query languages (i.e SQL) and big data analyticsGood applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

    Good scripting and programming skillsLanguages
    English is a must for this role.
