About the team you are joining


You will report to the Head Agency Programs Governance, and you will be responsible for the renewal, planning, quality and effective operation of the Passenger and Cargo Agency Programs.

What your day would be like

Manage the Cargo and Passenger Agency Conference (CAC and PAC) and their sub-groups, including meeting logistics, agenda, documentation, minutes and follow-up actions;

These groups are:
Passenger Agency Conference Steering Group (PSG) and the Passenger Agency Programme Global Joint Council (PAPGJC), IATA/FIATA Consultative Council (IFCC) and CASS Policy Group (CPG), plus any additional working group or task force as mandated by the Conferences;
Ensure the effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure awareness and understanding of the Programmes and Conferences strategies, actions and decisions;
Support the renewal, strengthening and streamlining of the standard operating procedures for the Cargo and Passenger Agency Programmes, including supporting the regional and country colleagues for conduct of Agency Programmes Joint Councils (APJC & Cargo Regional Joint Councils) and Local Airline Task Forces;
Facilitate proposals to the Passenger Agency and Cargo Agency Conferences;
Identify and drive forward any opportunities to increase the relevance and agility of the Governance processes and quality of participation of the representatives in the PAC and CAC and their sub-groups;
Manage the production process for all relevant PAC and CAC publications and identify opportunities to streamline the process.

CAC publications mean the Cargo Agency Conference Resolutions Manual (CACRM), Cargo Agents/Intermediaries Handbooks (CAH) in English, French and Spanish; CASS Technical Specifications Handbook (CSTH) and IATA Settlement Systems Service Provisions - Cargo (ISSSP-C).

PAC publications mean the Passenger Agency Conference Resolutions Manual (PACRM), Travel Agent's Handbook (TAH) in English, French and Spanish and the BSP Manual for Agents (BSPM);
Maintain and update Cargo and Passenger Governance websites.

We would love to hear from you if you have

A University degree or equivalent work experience;
Experience in Governance processes. Knowledge of the IATA Agency Programs, and their Resolutions and governance would be a plus;
Excellent planning skills, ability to lead projects through to completion and on schedule;
Ability to think "outside the box" and challenge the current way of working to drive for continuous improvement;

Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels from different cultures.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), knowledge of any other language is a plus.
