Job Definition:


In our Business Unit Data Manager RMI we support a vast variety of customer solutions which are based on our class leading OE compliant Repair and Maintenance Data for cars and trucks.

Our data and solutions support a wide range of use cases from a strong growing segment of e-Commerce and online solutions, embedded or stand-alone calculation tools or manuals for the local mechanic in the workshop.


As an important part of the sales team you support the European sales managers with your technical and data expertise.

In this respect you will identify TecRMI data solutions which fuel the customers business and use cases.

Your job will include the following tasks:


  • Requirement Analysis: Consulting the customers in defining the requirements for new RMI data solutions

Custom-fit Solutions: Recommend and select products and solutions for customers based on their individual needs and point out the benefits

Data-Driven Goal Orientation:Use data to help customers understand how products can help them achieve their goals

Customer Projects: Define projects, take over the technical coordination in cooperation with the product teams and manage the customer onboarding process


Job Qualification:


  • Completed training or studies in a commercial / economic or technical field
  • A minimum of two years of experience of technical sales in an IT or automotive related area
  • Interest in the automotive industry, especially in aftersales, is a big plus
  • Familiarity with current state of the art interface solutions, e.g. APIs
  • Goalorientation, good time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • Quick thinking to provide creative solutions that address customers' needs and concerns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills as well as an outgoing personality with the ability to win people over
  • Business fluency in German and English to consult your German and international customers
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 1015%, you decide at your own discretion, remote meetings are also an option
