EtherMail brings the best of blockchain technologies and traditional Email together and has attracted since its launch more than hundred thousands of users globally.

    EtherMail has been founded by serial entrepreneurs Shant Kevonian and Gerald Heydenreich (eg exit of buyvip to Amazon) is located in Liechtenstein, Spain, Germany and Argentina and has received more than 7 M € in funding from top tier VC funds such as fabric, greenfield and Tim Draper.

    The Role

    As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our advanced platform. You will be tasked with building robust and scalable backend systems, contributing to our product's overall performance and reliability. You will work closely with a talented team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with our strategic goal.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
    • Work with other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
    • Build and maintain scalable and high-performing systems and infrastructure.
    • Participate in code reviews and enhance the software development lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with product teams to define and implement new features and functionality.
    • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
    • Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

    Requirements:

    • Proven backend development experience with a strong portfolio.
    • Proficient in server-side languages using Express / NestJS Experience with database technology such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
    • Working knowledge of Docker and familiarity with continuous integration.
    • Experience with AWS
    • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
    • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
    • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
