In addition to its own products, BASF Española S.L.

markets more than 5,000 products from the BASF Group:

chemical, organic and inorganic products, catalysts; phytosanitary products, plastic materials, dispersions and raw materials for the inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics and cosmetics industry.

In the area of dispersions and resins, we offer a comprehensive range of resins, additives, and polymer dispersions.

These raw materials are used in formulations for coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives, printing and packaging products, electronics and paper, among others.

We develop innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers and support them in further improving their formulations.


RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of a new additional E-EDE Customer Service team, in Tarragona, you will collaborate in the following areas:

  • Being the main internal contact for customers, you manage day-to-day order enquiries and are responsible and accountable for all order-related activities.
  • In close cooperation with Account Management and Supply Chain, Transport Management, and logistic providers (deposit and transport) you ensure a seamless orderflow and ensure correct and prompt customer order processing.
  • You also provide the customer and sales team with the relevant information relative to order processing and deliveries' status.
  • Your main tools are SAP R/3 (Module SD) in parallel with an BASF own Order Monitoring Cockpit and MS Office; this includes the data maintenance required for ecommerce channels & SAP master data.
  • You handle customers' products returns and corresponding Non-ConformanceManagement.
  • You guarantee that consignment process runs smoothly and physical inventory taking for consignment stock at least once a year is properly handled and adhering to company rules.
  • You regularly monitor inventories and make sure proper actions are taken to minimize the impact on capital costs.
  • You finally ensure that the invoices and credit notes are issued correctly and promptly in the respect of corporate procedures and current tax regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar qualification.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • At least 35 years of experience in in Logistics, Customer Service or Supply Chain positions.
  • High level of Italian and English, Spanish appreciated.
  • Customer focus, collaboration and communication skills.
