Mission


Coordination, from a business point of view, of the different processes in which the business unit is involved in a potential M&A transaction.

Search for co-development opportunities with strategic partners that could contribute to the pipeline of the Business Unit beyond 2026.


Search other strategic initiatives, following the guidelines of the group and the platform with the aim of achieving business opportunities aligned with the BP and future development.

Direct opportunities and / or agreements for developments.


Main accountabilities


COORDINATION - Coordinate the different actors involved in the projects analysis of different acquisition opportunities within the Business Unit (development, environment, project management, legal BU) in the NBO phase.


Also coordinate the different actors within the Business Unit and management of the documentation in the Due Diligence phase and collaboration with M&A and Corporate Legal in the preparation of the BO and the documentation for approval in the respective IC / MT.


INPUTS FOR PROJECT VALUATIONS - Coordinate other departments (Engineering, Energy Assessment, Procurement, etc.) to prepare the input sheets for the valuation in collaboration with M&A department.


NEGOTIATION - Participate in the review and negotiation of documentation (NBO, BO, SPA, DSA, TSA, etc.) in open processes in order to guarantee risks minimization and the safeguarding of the objectives of the Business Unit, also taking into account DD findings.


Likewise, participate together with M&A in the negotiations in front of the seller to defend the interests of the company specifically in matters related to development risks.


ASSET ROTATION OPORTUNITIES - Coordination of the different actors of the Business Unit (promotion, environment, project management, legal BU) when applicable and support in the Asset Rotation processes following M&A indications.


GROWTH STRATEGY - Identification of opportunities in the market for the potential acquisition of projects or co-developments with strategic partners.

Identification of other opportunities and agreements to increase our pipeline and new business opportunities.

Origination of inorganic pipeline / co-development beyond 2026.


Required profile

  • Academic Level
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics or similar.


  • Required Proffesional Experience
At least 5 years of experience in the energy sector.

Experience in inorganic business development in renewables will be valued.

  • 3. Specific knowledge Knowledge about the development of renewable projects and regulation in Spain.
  • Knowledge about renewable projects valuation.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Strategic vision of the electricity sector as a whole.
  • Flexibility and ease to deal with other departments as well as to work within a team.

Spanish / English.
