UABOS:
Spain - Transient Alert Team Leader

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES
Transient Alert Team Leader (Mandatory AN).

The team leader possesses technical expertise and knowledge to handle and service all transient aircraft and can tow tactical and heavy aircraft as applied to crash recovery/transient alert duties and respond to accidents pertaining to Moron AB, Spain.

The TA team chief/lead shall complete the Crash Damaged or Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) course within the first six months of contract performance IAW AFI 21-101

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Works on or near various types of aircraft with or without operating engines on the flight line. Works in various weather conditions to include winter cold, summer hot and rain with windchill factors.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

Shall be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Shall have the ability to lift non-two-person weighted objects from ground level. Shall have the ability to lift two-person weighted objects from ground level with required assistance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have a minimum of six years' experience in the tactical aircraft field and at least two years' experience in Transient Alert/Crash Damaged Disabled Aircraft Recovery.

SKILLS:

Must have the qualifications of a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Technician and understands the requirements for crash damage disabled aircraft recovery (CDDAR) and transient alert aircraft ground handling for tactical, as well as large frame aircraft.

OTHER:

Possesses a Valid US Driver License.
Must be able to obtain or have a 'U.S. Secret' Security Clearance IAW UABOS PWS Para, 10.
Use of computer, phone, copier/scanner, radio, and in general all administrative materials during accomplishment of work.
Skilled in using computerbased Microsoft Office word excel etc.
