OBJECTIVE:


We are currently looking for a skilled and passionate IT manager interested in joining our dynamic company, located in the Barcelona area.


He will have two main goals:

  • To manage and oversee the company's technology infrastructure.
  • To develop and implement effective technology strategies that support business growth and drive innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead and contribute (handson) to IT operations to ensure that hardware, software, and networking systems are available, reliable, efficient, and secure.
  • Installation and maintenance of personal computers, servers, printers, network, and backup systems.
  • Manage licenses and accounts for company services (Office 365, ERP, CRM, BI, etc.)
  • Solve IT issues.
  • Manage and develop the IT team.
  • Negotiate, supervise, and collaborate with different IT providers.
  • Manage IT budget and ensure costeffectiveness.
  • Define and implement IT policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Define and implement training programs.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that technology systems meet the company's needs.
  • Identify and implement new technologies that improve operations.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Provide expert support on computer systems and operating systems for the company's product development, manufacture, and maintenance.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years as IT team lead with strong technical/handson orientation.
  • Excellent crossfunctional collaboration skills.

OTHER SKILLS:


  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in networking infrastructure, servers, backup systems, personal computers, Office 365, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and make strategic decisions.
  • Be able to align technology strategies with business goals.
  • Be able to communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders and communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Proactive, accountable, versatile, and highly motivated to be part of a technology company with strong expansion.
  • Good team player and quick learner.
