+Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the management and delivery of a variety of projects including airport masterplans airport facility planning capacity and demand analysis simulation modelling
- Deliver coordinate manage airport planning & capacity tasks in all aspects of airports including airfield apron terminals satellite buildings landside transport ancillary/support facilities utilities Take on responsibilities of a Project Manager for small to medium-sized projects works streams involving airport planning activities
Candidate specification
- A degree in aeronautical engineering civil engineering air transport management or airport planning Candidates with other relevant qualifications may be considered Fluency in English knowledge of other languages will be valued Relevant experience in the aviation industry preferably with chartership qualification or ability to demonstrate equivalent transferrable skills from another relevant industry Demonstrable professional experience in more than one technical field within airport planning airfield/apron operations terminal landside utilities airspace etc expected Proactive learning mindset Embrace teamwork collaboration others multidisciplinary team diverse range projects Methodical approach problem solving critical thinking Ability organise yourself/others small projects workstreams resources various disciplines Demonstrable capabilities project management programme commercial acumen Supervise junior staff members train developing new skills Excellent verbal communication presentation skills communicate colleagues clients written commuication attention detail accurate technical drawings professional reports Proficient Word PowerPoint Excel Power BI desirable Competent use drawings platforms AutoCAD Civil AviPlan Infraworks Navisworks Revit produce airfield terminal spatial outputs Knowledge simulation modelling tools expected
