Key Responsibilities

Python programming.
Experience in analysis of NGS data, experience with Illumina sequencing data desirable.
Experience in Linux, development of scripts and advanced use of the command line.
Technical support for clients.
Collaborate effectively with teammates and technical partners.
Communicate technical ideas and direction across the organization with a focus on problem solving.

What will you need as a successful Bioinformatician?

Familiarity with processing SNP array data (Infinium), genotyping/variant calling, RNAseq/transcriptome analysis.
General software development principles. Git, GitHub and Gitflow.
Reproductive health.
Containerisation e.g. Docker, Singularity.
Machine learning/deep learning.
