The Challenge:

Prepare/Review all aspects of U.S. indirect tax filings including, but not limited to, sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, and property tax.
Assist with income tax compliance, extensions, and estimated taxes.
Assist with federal and international income tax provisions.
Partner with various teams, including accounting, legal, engineering, operations, and finance on a variety of initiatives.
Perform indirect tax account accruals, reconciliations, and related journal entries.
Review indirect tax requirements for new products and/or system implementations.
Recognize, anticipate, and resolve tax issues, and make recommendations as applicable.
Work with the team to create, refine, and document tax policies, processes, and system workflows.
File sales and use tax registration as applicable and perform necessary research to determine if any new filings are required.
Maintain Tax compliance calendar.
Assist with the resolution of all state tax notices.
Assist with miscellaneous projects as necessary.

You Are:

Selfstarter with strong analytical skills and working as a team player.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage deadlines.
Outstanding organizational and communication (English oral and written) skills, and independent research skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, tax, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Tax including public accounting.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

Extra Awesome:

CPA, JD, or MST is strongly preferred.
Experience with Avalara AvaTax/Returns, CertCapture, Salesforce, and Workday Financials, preferred.
Exposure to Indirect, Income Tax, or International Tax preferred.

Locationflex: Similar to other companies' remote policies, for OneTrust "Locationflex" roles, you will primarily work from your home office location. However, you may be required to travel to our OneTrust offices or customer sites periodically based on the nature of your role.
