COMPLIANCE & CONDUCT is looking for an ESG ANALYST based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an
ESG Analyst you will help us in different fronts:

Actively participate in regulatory and Group development and implementation projects as required.
From a product/service design perspective, assess and provide advice on proposals with sustainable features submitted for approval to the Corporate Product Forum and/or Corporate Fiduciary Risk Meeting, in line with the Group's legal and internal regulations, mitigating the risk of greenwashing.
Evaluate and provide an opinion on the policies, procedures and frameworks related to sustainability issues and ESG product attributes.
Support the definition of the control and monitoring model for products with sustainable characteristics.
Train and support local teams on sustainability issues to strengthen their product admission and monitoring processes.
Coordinate initiatives with local and/or corporate teams on sustainability knowledge, experience and best practices.

EXPERIENCE

25 years of experience within financial services industry with proven track record in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit function or investments.
Exposure to Sustainability/ESG/Green Finance is highly desirable.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in economics, business, business administration, engineering or environmental sciences.
Specific education in Sustainability with professional certifications highly desirable (SCR GARP, CFA ESG).

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Strong knowledge of current ESG regulation of banking and investments products.
Knowledge and/or experience in Group ́s ESG initiatives is a plus.
Good knowledge of the Group's businesses (banking and wealth management), policies, processes and controls.
Ability to engage stakeholders across different geographies and divisions.
Good analytical and opinionforming skills
Teamwork, proactivity, common sense
Fluency in English and Spanish
