WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

COMPLIANCE & CONDUCT is looking for an ESG ANALYST based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an
ESG Analyst you will help us in different fronts:

  • Actively participate in regulatory and Group development and implementation projects as required.
  • From a product/service design perspective, assess and provide advice on proposals with sustainable features submitted for approval to the Corporate Product Forum and/or Corporate Fiduciary Risk Meeting, in line with the Group's legal and internal regulations, mitigating the risk of greenwashing.
  • Evaluate and provide an opinion on the policies, procedures and frameworks related to sustainability issues and ESG product attributes.
  • Support the definition of the control and monitoring model for products with sustainable characteristics.
  • Train and support local teams on sustainability issues to strengthen their product admission and monitoring processes.
  • Coordinate initiatives with local and/or corporate teams on sustainability knowledge, experience and best practices.

EXPERIENCE

  • 25 years of experience within financial services industry with proven track record in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit function or investments.
  • Exposure to Sustainability/ESG/Green Finance is highly desirable.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business, business administration, engineering or environmental sciences.
  • Specific education in Sustainability with professional certifications highly desirable (SCR GARP, CFA ESG).
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong knowledge of current ESG regulation of banking and investments products.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Group ́s ESG initiatives is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the Group's businesses (banking and wealth management), policies, processes and controls.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders across different geographies and divisions.
  • Good analytical and opinionforming skills
  • Teamwork, proactivity, common sense
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
