The EU Marketing & Prime team is looking for an analytical and customer-focused Senior Technical Program Manager to lead operational program management for the Amazon Associates Program across EU. The Amazon Associates Program is one of the most well-known and respected Affiliates programs WW and enables our partners (from content publishers and social media influencers, to large shopping sites) to monetize their online traffic by referring customers to Amazon. The Amazon Associates Program forms an integral part of Amazon's marketing mix that brings new customers to Amazon, drives existing customers to discover new products and services (e.g. Prime, Prime Video, Amazon Music, etc.) and increases customer loyalty.

This role will tap into your ability to wear multiple hats, working with Business, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Program teams to improve program operations but also contribute in advancing our product marketing offerings for million of customers in Europe. As such, this position has high levels of exposure, where you will be preparing documentation for senior executives and align roadmaps with organizational objectives, as well as directly coordinating the launch of new markets, products, services and incentives for our partners.

Thinking strategically and tactically, along with being innovative, an exemplary leader, an excellent communicator, influencer, and working with a premier team will help you flourish in this role. Leading and navigating cross-functional/geo efforts should come naturally. You will need to be a smart risk taker, who can deliver big ideas, as well as transform them into scalable programs, while also multitasking across a portfolio of project responsibilities. Strong project management, constant prioritization and crisp communication are required for success.

Basic Qualifications

Who you are:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical/quantitative discipline

• You have a strong track record in program management, working directly with product or operations teams, as well as a good understanding of programmatic marketing levers

• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English – both written and verbal

• You have proven quantitative skills with a passion and aptitude for solving problems

• You can multi-task and prioritize effectively to ensure top needs are met

• You have a demonstrated ability to understand, distill and succinctly communicate technical concepts

• You have a good command of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)

Preferred Qualifications

You might also have:

• An MBA, or relevant business experience

• Experience working with international teams

• Knowledge of online retail businesses

• Experience working with digital marketing teams

• Experience with Affiliate marketing

• Knowledge with programming in SQL

• Ability to learn and handle system administration tasks

You are good at:

• Acting as the interface between business teams (Business Development, and Marketing) and core stakeholder teams such as Legal, Risk Management, Engineering, and many other internal Amazon teams.

• Partnering with leaders across the company, both locally and internationally to align and drive product roadmap.

• Working closely with development teams to build and launch new programs including owning go-to-market strategy execution

• Audit program and projects and communicate status to the team and senior leaders

• Influence stakeholder teams on behalf of the program and owned project initiatives

• Operate successfully in ambiguous environments without constant direction from leadership

• Being a self-learner, with an ability to understand systems and processes in order to drive operational improvements and simplifications
